in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Titus 2: 7-8
Life in Christ Matters!
By the intent and proclamation of King James I who oversaw and enabled the translation of the Bible into the English language in 1611, the Bible has always been free from claims of ownership by anyone. Since the early 1600's, the Bible has been the most well known book on earth. It remains in the public domain today. It is free for everyone to copy, share, reproduce, publish, and more. (Please note: The King James Bible is NOT a "version", because it is the Bible.)
The opposite of works in the public domain (free for all) are works subject to claims of ownership based in copyright law worldwide. Copyright laws the world over allow the author of an original work, and the author of a derivative work (i.e., a writing based on a previous work), to be treated as the exclusive property of the author or publisher as per copyright law. It is here where people (and publishers) seek to profit monetarily from the Word of God by changing it for money, and the love of money is the root of all evil.
People who change the words of the Bible do so for personal or corporate gain, and do not please God. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. John 10:1. Remember, the Word is the "door"!
Every work of authorship other than the King James Bible, including books claiming Bible status are not the Bible because the original wording of the Bible has been changed in each and every of the so-called "versions". That's where the copyrights come in. The entity that changes the Word of God owns the rights to profit from it, because the original is free. Thus, the changes become the part that can be owned and licensed (sold) for money.
Doctrine, reproof, or correction: Sincerity is defined as, "the quality of being free from pretense, deceit, or hypocrisy." Corruption is defined as, "the process by which something, typically a word or expression, is changed from its original use or meaning to one that is regarded as erroneous or debased." Anyone who does not convey the truth of the Word in sincerity is corrupt and a worker of evil who seeks corruption.
For me, the teacher's question of the Master can be asked and answered this way: If the original Bible, (King James), from way back in jolly ole 1611 is perfectly reconciled by its own words by order of the King....(and reproved by us to edify the body of Christ), why change it? (For example: Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit do not always share the same meaning or context. Why does any text claiming "bible" status, or a "version" thereof, remove the term "Holy Ghost" when He (i.e., the Holy Ghost) is the power of God in the truth of the Word? Word substitutions like that are erroneous, promote a lack of understanding, and do not draw us closer to God according to the Word.
God is love and the Word of God is God! Thus, the King James Bible is not just about understanding general topical issues, or preaching as one is led each day. It's about the seamless connectivity of everything presented in the Bible and New Covenant (the New Testament) in particular. Stated another way, the words of the New Covenant must not be changed, altered, or substituted, etc., or we risk not knowing God's will for us individually. The King James Bible is perfectly accurate as written. It is the doorway to the spirit. Our ministry and the Lord's Porter courses we offer are founded on a complete reconciliation of the New Testament scriptures using only the words in them. We encourage you to see and learn for yourself and experience the power of God in truth like never before.
Please note: Websites like Bibegateway.com are useful, however, the default for keyword searches on the BibleGateway site is the NIV─a "version" that changes the original wording of the Bible. In addition, the BibleGateway site improperly calls the King James Bible a "version".
Don't those other books like the NIV share the same purpose as the Bible? No. The words in the NIV and other books that change the wording of the king James Bible are proven inconsistent and cannot be reconciled by the words in them. This means they fail to show the connectivity of everything written in the King James Bible from which they were derived. Moreover, they dangerously mislead everyone when the references to God are changed, and more.
Well then, are those other books including the NIV completely worthless? When the words of the Bible are changed, the result is an inaccurate text. How is an inaccurate text considered reliable? In respect of the Spirit, teaching and the other gifts of the Spirit including knowledge, etc., the King James Bible is the best. See for yourself.
